My Life Verse...
Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait for the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run and not grow weary. They shall walk and not faint.
This is my life verse. This sums up my hope, faith, and passion. Please take a moment and share your life verse, or a verse with special meaning to you in the "Comments".

My life verse:
But now, this is what the LORD says: "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior." Isaiah 43:1-3
It's a constant reminder that I'm not alone, of where He has brought me, and that nothing will ever be too great for me to handle, and that He will never leave me--admist the flames and rivers that creep near me.

"That I may know Him in the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His suffering, being conformed to His death." Philippians 3:10
My heart's desire is to learn to be more than a fair-weather friend to Jesus--to become someone who embraces sorrow with as much gratitude to God and quiet peace in my heart, as when all is "going my way."
Your words never fail to touch me Mandy. With your encouraging spirit, I'm convinced you are a Barnabas! Every one of your entries resonates with the hope of Christ.
Your gentleness is something I strive for.

Romans 5:2-5
Through him we have obtained access to this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in our hope of sharing the glory of God. More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit which has been given to us.
